Programs & Services
Real support. Right now. Rooted in community.
At CYF, we don’t just run programs—we build pathways. Every service we offer is designed to meet families where they are and help youth rise into the future they deserve. Our work is trauma-informed, relationship-based, and built in partnership with the very communities we serve.
Prevention Programs
We interrupt the cycle before it begins.
Our prevention services are designed to protect youth and support families before crisis strikes. Through mentoring, education, wraparound care, and community connection, we help youth and caregivers rewrite their stories—together.
Programs include:
Life skills & character development workshops
Youth-led leadership groups
School-based interventions
Parent Café sessions
Crisis navigation & service referrals
Serving youth ages 10–19 and their families in Detroit, Hamtramck, and Highland Park.
Community-Based Probation
Justice should heal—not harm.
Our community-based probation program provides an alternative to detention by surrounding court-involved youth with structure, care, and accountability right in their own neighborhoods. We partner with courts, families, and schools to restore dignity, reduce recidivism, and support success.
Key services include:
Case management & goal planning
Behavioral support & mentorship
Community service coordination
Weekly check-ins and progress reviews
Residential Programs
Safe space. Real change. Lifelong impact.
For youth who need short-term residential care, our programs provide stability, structure, and a path forward. Every home environment is designed to be nurturing, trauma-informed, and focused on healing and hope.
Our residential care include:
24/7 supervision by trained youth specialists
Individual & group therapy
Academic support & life skills training
Reunification support for families
Referral-based services are provided in partnership with MDHHS and family courts.
